Trump: We are holding direct talks with Iran news

US President Donald Trump said that his country started direct talks with Iran, noting that a large meeting between the two parties, adding that it is a pedestrian that reaching an agreement was “the favorite thing.”
Trump added, during his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a number of journalists at the White House Oval Office that these discussions come within the framework of seeking to avoid the clash, stressing that the success of these negotiations will be in the interest of Iran.
He added that Israel wants to be a partner in these negotiations, and that it “wants to be involved in that,” referring to Tel Aviv’s desire to play a role in determining the outputs of any possible agreement.
In turn, Netanyahu said that his country is seeking to repeat the Libyan model, which witnessed Tripoli’s abandonment of its nuclear program in exchange for international guarantees, adding: “If we can reach a full diplomatic agreement, this will be a good thing.”
In this context, he stressed the unity of the situation with Washington in the refusal of Iran’s possession of a nuclear weapon, saying that “we are all united regarding not to allow Tehran to reach this threshold.” He stressed that his country supports diplomatic solutions if it is effective.
