Russian forces control two new towns in eastern Ukraine

The Russian forces continued to advance on the various fronts of the combat in eastern Ukraine, as it expanded their control of the provinces of Sumi and Donetsk, after controlling two new towns.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced its full control of the town of Kostantinvka in the Sumi area near its borders, and the town of Zellini Paul in the Donetsk area of Ukraine.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said that “the Russian forces liberated the towns of Constantinovka in the province of Sumi and Zelinoi Polly in the People’s Republic of Donetsk.”
On Monday, it announced its control of two villages in Sumi, where Russia said it wanted to create a “buffer zone” to prevent Ukrainian incursions into its territory.
The ministry added that its forces had suffered great losses on the various axes of the Russian military operation.
Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski had confirmed earlier that Moscow was preparing for a possible attack in the region.
