Barcelona faces possible new sanctions from “UEFA” sports

Press reports indicated that Barcelona may face harsh sanctions from the European Football Association (UEFA) due to its violation of the rules of fair financial play again.
The newspaper “The Times”, which reported the news, stated that this is not the first time that this happens, and added that the Catalan club realizes that it will be punished.
Barcelona has been deceived 500 thousand euros because it was not provided with correct financial information, and it now faces a second penalty that may include reducing the number of players registered in the Champions League or losing points.
Barcelona confirmed its completion of a financial audit carried out by UEFA every two years, and that it has not yet received possible results or consequences from this review.
Barcelona stressed that the primary dispute with “UEFA” is that some financial operations are not considered as a regular operating income, contrary to what the Spanish League is considered.
Disagreements are concentrated on the well -known mechanisms that allowed him to sign players such as Ravenia and Robert Lewandowski.
Exceptional revenues
The Spanish League is considered the revenue from this process normal, while the European Football Association considers it exceptional revenues, which results in penalties, although the club has not received any notification from the authority about the potential sanctions it will face.
The club was previously warned that if other violations occur, the penalty will be more severe than the first time that was deceived by 500 thousand euros.
“The club’s financial control authority confirms that any similar violation by the club during the monitoring process for the 2023-2024 season will be considered a repeat of violations, and a more severe disciplinary action will be imposed on Barcelona.”
Barcelona make a lot of money
Barcelona reaps millions of transfer market. In the first days of June this year, the club gathered 14.3 million euros.
The Catalan club achieved 6 million euros from the sale of Alex Valley to Como, who paid the penalty clause last Tuesday.
There are two other deals that also made huge profits for Barcelona, but indirectly, one of which was the deal of Jean -Claire Todipo.
Last summer, the player moved from Nice on loan to West Ham with the option to buy it during the current transfer period.
The English club will pay 39 million euros, which means that Barcelona will make a profit of 7.8 million of this future deal, after it acquired 20% of it.
Another deals that will make profits to the Blaugrana are the deal of Alex Colado’s transfer to a Qatari league club for 2.97 million euros. Barcelona will get half a million euros from the deal because it has previously acquired 20% of it.
With these three deals, Barca collected a significant amount of 14.3 million euros.
