Israeli raids targeting Quneitra and Daraa countryside

Agencies – Damascus:
A series of Israeli air strikes targeted several sites in southern Syria at dawn on Wednesday, in a bombing that the Israeli army said that it had affected weapons belonging to the Syrian authorities and came in response to the launch of two projectiles from its territory towards the Hebrew state.
Violent explosions shook the city of Quneitra and the countryside of Daraa in southern Syria as a result of Israeli air strikes, without immediately that deaths or injuries were killed.
A statement that the reports have not yet been validated about the launch of two projectiles towards the Israeli side, and said that the bombing that targeted villages and towns in Daraa led to “severe human and material losses.”
It was not yet clear whether the Israeli bombing resulted in deaths. “We confirm that Syria has not and will not pose a threat to any party in the region, and that the maximum priority in southern Syria lies in extending the authority of the state, and ending the presence of weapons outside the framework of official institutions,” the Syrian Foreign Ministry said.
