The Saudi falconry and hunting show… when heritage meets the splendor of the present

Every year, the Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition returns to take us on a journey unlike any other… a journey that combines the fragrance of history and the wings of glory, between earth and sky, between an authentic heritage rooted in the desert, and modernity that resides in the heart of the contemporary Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is moving forward with confident steps to achieve the goals of a promising vision.
This exhibition is not considered only an entertainment event, but rather a mirror of our cultural and human identity, and a voice declaring that authenticity is not a thing of the past, but rather a spirit that lives within us and is renewed.
There, in Falcons Square, the stories of the ancestors intersect with the ambitions of the grandchildren. The hand of the desert, which was paved by God’s command and the ruggedness of the desert, meets the hand of the young man who documents the moment of departure with a modern camera and an optimistic vision lens.
The falcon in our heritage is more than a bird. It is a symbol of dignity, freedom, and rising above pettiness. Whoever sees hundreds of falcons flying in the sky of the exhibition, realizes that what he sees is not a show, but a living declaration of values that have not faded with time: strength, pride, courage, and loyalty.
What distinguishes this exhibition from others is that it does not limit itself to display and viewing, but rather builds bridges between heritage and economics, between hobby and investment.
In it, we find sections dealing with modern fishing techniques, others dealing with agriculture and tool production, and pavilions that open new horizons for entrepreneurship in areas that were once a naturally practiced craft.
Perhaps one of the most beautiful things about the exhibition is the humanitarian space that brings together adults and children, men and women, citizens and visitors from different countries, around one love: the love of falcons, which turns the corners and sections of the exhibition into talking paintings, the details of which hide beauty and heritage… and the passion or astonishment that is observed in the look of a child holding a falcon for the first time, or through the story of a falconer who inherited the profession from his father, and in Visitors’ eyes sparkle when they see how falconry transforms from an individual practice into a cultural festival worthy of the Kingdom and its status.
The Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition is not just a seasonal event, but rather a renewed memory and celebration of authentic national identity. It is an exhibition through which Saudis celebrate their loyalty to their origin and heritage, no matter how flexible they are with the updates of time… and no matter how quickly they fly towards the spaces of the future.
