On Friday, French police arrested a man suspected of wounding three women in stabbing attacks on the Paris metro network at the height of the end-of-year celebrations in the French capital.
Prosecutors explained that police used surveillance camera footage and tracked the attacker’s mobile phone to locate him in the Val d’Oise area north of Paris.
The Parisian Transport Authority stated that the attacks, which injured three women, occurred at three different stations in the center of the capital between 16:15 (15:15 GMT) and 16:45, at the Opera, RZ Metiers and Republique stations.
