The Israeli army carries out the largest bombing campaign on Lebanon

The Israeli army announced the implementation of the largest bombing campaign on Lebanon since the involvement of the pro-Iranian Hezbollah in the war, on March 2, noting that it had struck about “100 headquarters and military infrastructure belonging to” the party.
The army said, in a statement, that it carried out “a strike targeting about 100 Hezbollah headquarters and military infrastructure in Beirut, the Bekaa, and southern Lebanon.”
For its part, the National News Agency in Lebanon reported a wave of Israeli strikes targeting several neighborhoods in the Lebanese capital at the same time.
A Lebanese security source confirmed that the latest round of bombing is the most violent that Lebanon has witnessed since the start of the war with Israel.
In turn, Lebanese Health Minister Rakan Nasser al-Din reported that hundreds were killed and injured throughout Lebanon as a result of the Israeli strikes.
The Ministry of Health called on the Lebanese to make way for ambulances to reach the sites of Israeli raids.
Israeli Army Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir indicated, “We will continue to strike Hezbollah with all determination.”
