I am waiting for a Putin meeting in Türkiye .. Thursday

Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski announced that his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin will meet next Thursday in Türkiye, in a move aimed at moving the diplomatic path to end the ongoing war.

Zelinski stressed through his account on the X platform the importance of reaching a comprehensive and permanent ceasefire, starting today, Monday, considering that this constitutes the necessary basis for any diplomatic efforts. With Ukraine in Istanbul with the aim of ending the war, he said in comments reported by Russian news agencies that his country had never rejected dialogue with Ukraine, noting that Moscow wanted to hold serious talks on the conflict that has been going on for more than two years.
