Small plane crash lands in Lake Hamilton, Arkansas
A small airplane carrying at least two people crashed in Lake Hamilton, Arkansas on Monday morning.
Officials in the Garland County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to local news outlet KATV that the plane crashed into a cove off of Port-Au-Prince Street in Hot Springs.
Authorities in the police department as well as the Hot Springs Fire Department and dive teams were called to the scene to assist in rescuing any passengers aboard.
Reports indicate one of the passengers, a female, was transported to the hospital. Another passenger was a male.
It is unclear what the conditions of the two people are at this time or why the plane crash-landed.
