Army sorties in Khartoum… and clashes in the vicinity of the “armored corps”
Violent clashes between Sudanese Army and Rapid Support Forces, Today, Saturday, in the vicinity of the headquarters of the “Armored Corps” in the capital, Khartoum, using heavy and light weapons.
According to eyewitnesses, the army repelled a massive attack by the Rapid Support Forces from two axes, which lasted for several hours, targeting the “armored corps” south of Khartoum.
It is noteworthy that the “armored corps” is one of the important strategic bases of the army in the capital, Khartoum.
The correspondent of Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath channels reported that the Sudanese army carried out air reconnaissance flights in the cities of Khartoum and Omdurman today, at the time when the Rapid Support Forces ground antipodes.
In another context, the Preliminary Committee of the Sudan Doctors Syndicate announced the killing of a laboratory specialist and the occurrence of an extensive attack on Al-Shuhada Hospital in Al-Droshab, which rendered it out of service.
According to eyewitnesses, a force belonging to the Rapid Support Forces attacked this hospital, located north of Bahri. But the Rapid Support Forces denied their part Breaking into the hospital and attacking the doctors there.
The Rapid Support Forces said in a statement that the “allegations” published by some parties about the storming of Al-Shuhada Hospital carry “misleading and false” information that has nothing to do with the truth. The statement added that the hospital is controlled by the army forces.
