Russia uses 90% of its military capabilities in Ukraine
Today, Monday, the head of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer, revealed that Russia uses 90% of its military capabilities in Ukraine war.
He also said in press statements that Moscow needs some time to reconfigure its military forces after what it is losing in Ukraine, pointing out that the Ukraine war is a mixture of World War I and II plus digital military technology.
In addition, Admiral Robb said, “There are no indications that Russia intends to enter into a direct war with NATO.”
“We are ready, militarily and non-militarily, to respond to Russia if it diverts Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant into a weapon against the Allies.”
He added, “We are ready for various military and other scenarios to respond to the possibility of using the Zaporizhia plant for military purposes.”
Terrorist attack.. and a radioactive leak
Last month, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia of planning a “terrorist attack” involving a radioactive leak at the Russian-controlled Zaporizhia plant in southern Ukraine.
On the other hand, the Kremlin rejected Zelensky’s allegations. “This is another lie,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters. “There were only contacts with the International Atomic Energy Agency at the site.”
It is noteworthy that the Zaporizhya power plant was repeatedly subjected to Russian bombings, and its connection to the electricity network was cut off seven times since the Russian army seized it on March 4, 2022, ten days after the start of the Russian military operation.
