Prince Mohammed bin Salman holds talks with the Prime Minister of Japan in Jeddah
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in Jeddah today, Sunday.
The Crown Prince held talks with the Prime Minister of Japan in Jeddah.
The Japanese Prime Minister started from Saudi Arabia his first visit to the Middle East region since his appointment in 2021, and he will later head to the UAE and Qatar.
The Saudi-Japanese round table meeting was held earlier Sunday, in the presence of the Japanese Prime Minister and Minister of Investment Khaled Al-Falih, with the participation of representatives of the Japanese government and more than 44 leading Japanese companies.
26 memoranda of understanding and agreements
During the meeting, they reviewed and studied opportunities to enhance investment partnerships between the two countries in a wide range of sectors such as; Clean energy, clean chemicals, mining, healthcare, and digital technologies. The meeting also culminated in the signing of 26 memorandums of understanding and investment agreements.
