The bombing of a hospital in Omdurman targeted a floor where Al-Bashir resides

The Sudanese army said that the Rapid Support Forces bombed on Saturday the emergency and casualty complex at the Medical Weapon Hospital in Omdurman, killing five patients and injuring 22, most of them civilians.
The army added in a statement that targeting the hospital with drones was a continuation of its “approach to violating international humanitarian law and all norms of war.”
Fighting broke out
Sudan slipped into the abyss of fighting between the army and the Rapid Support Forces on April 15. The two sides reached several ceasefire agreements mediated by Saudi Arabia, but the negotiations that took place in Jeddah were suspended last month after the two parties to the conflict exchanged accusations of violating the armistice.
