The death of a Jordanian policeman who was run over by a driver in a reckless manner while he was working
A great tragedy was experienced by the family of the Jordanian policeman Musa Muhammad al-Masri, who died of his severe injuries while trying to stop a vehicle while performing his security duty in the Jubaiha area of the Jordanian capital, Amman.
And according to the details that eyewitnesses told Al-Arabiya.net, the late Egyptian sergeant asked the driver of a small electric vehicle to stop, during the official duty of the rescue patrol in an area between Jubaiha and Sweileh, north of Amman, but the owner of the vehicle refused to comply and ran over him and fled from the scene of the accident. Until the General Security later managed to arrest him.
The policeman was immediately transferred to Al-Hussein Medical City, and he entered the intensive care unit for days, but due to his poor health and exposure to bruises and fractures, he died on Tuesday of his wounds.

At first, the Public Prosecutor charged the driver with attempted murder when Sergeant Musa was in intensive care in the hospital, but after his death, it is expected that the driver’s charge will be changed to that of premeditated murder.

The family of the late sergeant demanded that the law be applied strictly to the “reckless” driver and that the most severe penalties be imposed on him, so that he would be an example to everyone who tempted himself to drive in this way.
The late Egyptian is a father of five young children, who used to live a normal life in a family atmosphere inhabited by love and mutual respect.

Colonel Al-Awaidat conveyed the warmest feelings of condolences and sympathy on behalf of the Director of Public Security and all employees of the Public Security Directorate to the family of the deceased.
