Iraq suspends the work license of the Swedish company Ericsson Telecom


Today, Thursday, the head of the Media and Communications Authority in Iraq, Ali Al-Moayyed, decided to suspend the license of the Swedish Ericsson Telecom Company to operate in Iraqi territory, according to the Iraqi News Agency, “INA.”

And the commission stated in a statement, “The head of the Media and Communications Commission, Ali Al-Moayyed, suspended the license to operate the Swedish Ericsson Telecom Company in Iraqi territory.”

The statement added, “This came to allow the State of Sweden to burn the Holy Qur’an and the Iraqi flag.”

Earlier, a spokesperson announced Iraqi government Severing diplomatic relations with Sweden and withdrawing the Iraqi charge d’affaires in Stockholm, in addition to asking the Swedish ambassador in Baghdad to leave the country.
