Netanyahu is subject to the implantation of a device that monitors arrhythmias

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a video statement released by his office that he would have a heart rhythm monitor implanted overnight Saturday.

“A week ago I had a monitoring device implanted. This device beeped this evening and said I should have a monitoring device implanted,” Netanyahu added.
Arrhythmia and I really have to do this tonight.”

“I am in perfect condition, but I have to listen to my doctors,” he added.

Netanyahu, 73, was standing and smiling in the video. He said his doctors assured him that he would leave the hospital “tomorrow afternoon”.

His office stated that he would undergo the procedure at Sheba Medical Center in the Tel Hashomer neighborhood.

Netanyahu was transferred to this center during the night of July 15 after developing what his office said was dehydration while on vacation by the sea in the Galilee without taking the necessary protective measures in the midst of a heat wave.

On July 16, the hospital confirmed the initial diagnosis of dehydration, and said that additional tests had been carried out on him, including the implantation of a monitoring device
Under the skin showed that Netanyahu’s heart was in good health, and that the device would allow his doctors to monitor his condition.
