Inter Milan defender’s “strange” request surprises Haaland | sports
Erling Haaland was not in a good mood after his Manchester City team’s disappointing draw against Inter Milan in the Champions League.
The confrontation, which was hosted by Al-Ittihad Stadium on Wednesday evening, ended in a goalless draw in the league stage of the continental championship.
The Norwegian international scored 9 goals in 4 matches in the English Premier League this season, and yesterday he was hoping to score his 100th goal in a Manchester City shirt.
Francesco Acerbi and his defensive partner Alessandro Bastoni contributed to restricting the Norwegian goal machine, and after the final whistle, the 36-year-old veteran went directly to the frustrated Haaland.
The two players shook hands before engaging in a discussion for some time and appeared to be talking about exchanging shirts, with each player pulling the other’s shirt.
Acerbe appeared raising two fingers, indicating, according to the Sun newspaper, his desire to receive two shirts from the Norwegian as a souvenir.
Acerbe faced the Norwegian in the 2023 Champions League final in Istanbul, and the Citizens achieved victory with a goal from Rodri.

Many fans thought Haaland responded to the Italian’s gesture by saying “Two? Go to hell” before both players burst out laughing following the striker’s sarcastic tantrum.
One fan commented on the incident, saying, “Did Acerbe just ask Haaland for two shirts? Haaland told him: Go to hell?”
“Acerbe, 36, has Haaland in his pocket, bro,” another said. A third commented: “Haaland couldn’t pass the Acerbe test again.”
