558 killed in Israeli attacks on Lebanon
Agencies – Beirut:
At least 15 people were killed on Wednesday in Israeli raids on various areas in Lebanon, according to the Ministry of Health, at a time when the Israeli army announced that it was launching “extensive” raids on areas in southern and eastern Lebanon.
Lebanese Health Minister Firas Al-Abyad announced that the air strikes on Monday alone resulted in the deaths of 558 people, the majority of whom were “unarmed and safe,” and more than 1,800 wounded, in the highest daily death toll recorded in Lebanon since the civil war (1975-1990).
Hezbollah announced the launch of a ballistic missile towards Tel Aviv for the first time since the escalation began about a year ago, targeting the Mossad headquarters. But the Israeli army intercepted him.
