Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attacked the United Nations and stressed that Israel would continue fighting in Gaza and Lebanon until “complete victory,” while the hall of the United Nations General Assembly witnessed chants of protest and the departure of diplomatic delegations that preceded his speech.
Delegations of many countries left the hall, including Turkey, Iran, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait, as a large portion of the hall emptied of attendance. Loud voices were also heard in the hall during the Israeli Prime Minister’s speech.
During the speech, video clips showed that the seats of the majority of delegations of Arab and Islamic countries, which boycotted Netanyahu’s speech before the United Nations General Assembly, were empty, while the Israeli delegation tried to overcome this embarrassment by deliberately clapping for him continuously during his speech.

Netanyahu said during his speech at the 79th session of the General Assembly at the United Nations, “Israel seeks peace, but it will fight in Gaza until it achieves complete victory, and it will continue to strike Lebanon until it achieves its goal of returning its citizens safely to their homes in the north.”
He added, “We are victorious and are ready to support a local civil administration in Gaza that is committed to peaceful coexistence, because the continuation of Hamas in power in Gaza means that it will reorganize its ranks, arm itself, and attack Israel again.”
Netanyahu also attacked Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, stressing that he wants peace with Israel but is waging a diplomatic war against its existence.
During his speech before the United Nations General Assembly on Friday, Netanyahu presented two maps showing the West Bank and Gaza Strip as part of Israel.
Survival war
He added, “Israel is at war and fighting for survival… We must defend ourselves against these brutal killers. Our enemies seek not only to destroy us, but to destroy our common civilization and return us all to a dark age of tyranny and terrorism.”
He stressed that the Lebanese Hezbollah attacks turned living cities in Israel into ghost cities, and therefore we must defeat them. I ask you, “What would your response be if cities like San Diego and El Paso were turned into similar cities?”
In his speech, Netanyahu sought to place responsibility for the conflict on Iran, stressing that Tel Aviv is defending itself against Tehran on 7 fronts.
He called on the Security Council to re-impose sanctions on Iran to ensure that it does not possess nuclear weapons, sending a message to Iran saying: “If you hit us, we will hit you, and there is no place in Iran that Israel cannot reach.”
Netanyahu stressed that what is required to end the war is for Hamas to surrender and release all “hostages,” and “if it does not, we will continue fighting.”
The Israeli Prime Minister considered that the United Nations had become a “contemptible farce,” while condemning the body’s unfair treatment of his country.
He continued, “Isolating Israel still constitutes a moral stain on the United Nations, and until Israel is treated like other countries, and until this anti-Semitic swamp is eliminated, fair people around the world will continue to view the United Nations as nothing more than a farce.” Contemptible.”
Netanyahu delivered his speech at the United Nations General Assembly at a time when the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, requested the issuance of two arrest warrants against him and his Defense Minister Yoav Galant. For their responsibility for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
