Two marches coming from Lebanon disturbed the military atmosphere in Israel for about an hour before Israeli Army Radio announced what it described as the end of the infiltration incident.
Israeli Army Radio released urgent news on Tuesday evening, citing a military source, that search operations have been continuing for 40 minutes without success for a march that infiltrated from Lebanon.
The radio continued to follow the developments of the event, indicating that combat helicopters were participating in searching for a march that had infiltrated from Lebanon. It also quoted a Shin Bet source as saying that the navigation system (GPS) in Greater Tel Aviv had been disabled for security reasons related to the march.
A short while later, Israeli Channel 12 explained that two marches had penetrated the airspace from Lebanon, one of which was shot down, and a search was still underway for the other, before Israeli Army Radio returned and indicated that the incident of marches infiltrating from Lebanon had ended after about an hour.
The interesting thing is that Israeli Army Radio reported again about the loss of the march in the airspace of Yokneam, south of Haifa, without its objection.
