28 martyrs in the Gaza Strip and the occupation commits 3 massacres in 24 hours | news

Medical sources reported to Al Jazeera that 28 Palestinians were killed in Israeli raids on several areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn today, while the occupation continues its siege of the northern Gaza Strip for the 46th day in a row.

Al Jazeera’s correspondent said that 8 were killed and others were injured in the targeting of a house near the electricity company in the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip.

The reporter also reported that three Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing of a house east of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said that during the past 24 hours, the Israeli occupation committed three massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, including 50 martyrs and 110 injured in hospitals.

Thus, the toll of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip rises to 43,972 martyrs, in addition to 104,080 injured since October 7, 2003.

Raids

Al Jazeera’s correspondent said that an Israeli air strike targeted a house belonging to the Abu Jalala family in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in three martyrs, two wounded, and a number of missing persons.

He added that civil defense crews transferred the injured to Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah to receive treatment.

Al Jazeera’s correspondent also reported that 8 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli bombing of the northern Gaza Strip.

The correspondent added that Israeli occupation aircraft launched a series of raids on areas in the besieged northern Gaza Strip, and that residents of the region renewed their appeal to international organizations to intervene and allow ambulances to transport the injured and recover the martyrs, especially after the occupation continued to blow up buildings in the Jabalia camp and Beit Lahia.

In the central Gaza Strip, an Al Jazeera correspondent reported that at least 5 Palestinians were injured in a helicopter missile strike that targeted a house in the Bureij refugee camp.

The reporter said that a fire that broke out as a result of the bombing was brought under control after the intervention of civil defense crews, and the injured were transferred to Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah to receive treatment.

Occupation losses

On the other hand, updated Israeli army data on Tuesday showed that 11 soldiers were injured during the past 24 hours.

According to data published on the Israeli army’s website, the number of injured soldiers in Gaza, Lebanon, and the West Bank since the beginning of the war has reached 5,381 soldiers, up from 5,370 yesterday, Monday.

Thus, 11 Israeli soldiers were injured during the last 24 hours.

The Israeli army did not indicate the locations of the soldiers’ injuries during the past 24 hours, but battles are taking place in Gaza and southern Lebanon.

According to Israeli army data, 21 of the injured are still being treated for serious injuries, 218 for moderate injuries, and 17 for minor injuries.

Based on the same data, 798 soldiers have been killed since the beginning of the war on October 7, 2023, including 376 in ground battles in the Gaza Strip that began on the 27th of the same month.

This data includes soldiers who were killed and injured in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, inside Israel, and in southern Lebanon.

This number does not include civilians, police officers, and the Shin Bet security service who have been killed since the beginning of the war.
