The European Union calls for pressure on Israel to stop the Gaza war

European Union foreign policy official Josep Borrell confirmed that he will propose to members of the bloc to suspend political dialogue with Israel, referring to what Israel is committing in the Gaza war.

“Many have tried to stop the war in Gaza… but this has not happened so far,” Borrell told reporters before a meeting of European Union foreign ministers. I see no hope of that happening. “So we have to put pressure on the Israeli government, and also on (the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement) Hamas, of course.”
