17 Palestinians were killed in Israeli raids on Gaza
Agencies – Gaza:
The official Palestinian News and Information Agency (Wafa) reported that 17 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli air strikes on the Bureij refugee camp and the town of Jabalia in the central and northern Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, a report published by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, concluded that the pattern of deadly attacks launched by Israel on hospitals and their environs in the Gaza Strip led to the collapse of the health care system, with a catastrophic impact on civilians.
The report referred to the attacks that were documented from October 12, 2023 to June 30, 2024 regarding Israel’s compliance with international law, which stipulates the protection of hospitals, medical workers, and patients during war.
He explained in a diagram: The systematic destruction of the health system, and the extent of the killing of patients, doctors, other health workers and civilians, in blatant disregard for international human rights law.
