We are ready to negotiate, but not with Zelinski
Moscow – Agencies:
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on Tuesday that his country is ready to negotiate to end the conflict in Ukraine, but he refused to hold any direct talks with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodimir Zellinski, who considered him “illegal.”
Putin said in statements to Russian television: “If Zellinski wants to participate in the negotiations, I will choose people to participate in it, describing Zellinski as” illegal “because his presidential term has passed through the martial martial rulings.
Putin added: But basically, if they want to move forward, there is a legal way to do this .. Let the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament deal with the matter according to the constitution .. If there is a desire, we can solve any legal problems .. However, we do not see such Desire so far.
“If there is a desire to negotiate and find a settlement, to let whatever lead the negotiations there … of course we will strive to achieve what suits us, and what is compatible with our interests.”
Putin also considered that the conflict could end in “two months” or less if the West stops support for Kiev .. He continued: They will not hold a month if money or ammunition is running out in general .. Everything will end in a month and a half or two months.
