Ancelotti stands in the ranks of Modric after his fight with Vinicius sports

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti decided to support veteran player Luka Modric after an argument between him and his teammate Vinicius Junior during the victory over Leganes in the King’s Cup on Wednesday.

Real Madrid managed to qualify with difficulty in the King’s Cup quarter-finals, thanks to the goal of the young Gonzalo Garcia Torres in the last minute (3-2).

The tension was tangible on the field, and it appeared in particular between the veteran captain Modric and Veniceus, who entered a substitute in the second half.

A dispute broke out between the players in the last 5 minutes, because the Brazilian obtained an alarm and his delay in returning to the defense, which angered the Croatian from Vinicius on multiple occasions, according to Radio Cadina Sir.

The 39 -year -old was asking the Brazilian wing to return to the defense after the referee was given a violation of the Kanis near the penalty area, but he did not receive any response from Vinicius.

Modric was then forced to raise his voice again on Vinicius, as Fenie Valverde intervened and called on Vinicius to leave his position and return to the defense, which he did in the end.

Ancelotti said after the match: “Modric was angry with Vinicius? I don’t know what happened, but if Modric says anything, he is right, because I always agree with Modric.”

Ancelotti concluded his speech with a touch of humor about Vinicius’s performance, saying: “In terms of football, Vinicius was as usual dynamically and firmly in the attack. He had a lot of opportunities. As for the yellow card … there is no new there; all this is part of the game.”
