Erdogan: We will work on the renaissance of Syria .. And Sharia: Your support is still tangible

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed yesterday that his country will support and revise Syria, stressing the necessity of lifting Western sanctions to achieve this.

He announced during a joint press conference in Ankara with Syrian President Ahmed Al -Shara, who announced that Turkey will establish with the Sharia administration to a region free of terrorism, and added that he discussed with his Syrian counterpart the steps that will be taken against the militants in the north and the east, stressing that he had informed Sharia Türkiye’s readiness to help the battles.

Erdogan stated that his country’s position and policies are fixed on the unity of Syria, confirming working with Damascus in various fields.

For his part, Syrian President Ahmed Al -Shara appreciated Turkey’s endeavor to make the transitional phase in Syria a success, and Al -Shara called Erdogan to visit Syria at the earliest opportunity, and announced that Damascus is working with Turkey on joint cooperation in all fields, stressing that the great Turkish support for Syria is still tangible.
