For his part, Trump said: “We discussed Ukraine, the Middle East, energy, artificial intelligence, the strength of the dollar and many other issues, and we both thought about the great history of our countries, and the fact that we fought with great success together in World War II, and reminded us that Russia has lost tens of millions of people, and likewise we lost a lot. And he continued: “Each of us talked about the strengths in our countries, and the great benefit that we will get one day to work together.” And Ukraine .. We agreed to work closely together, including visiting each other’s countries .. We also agreed that our teams will start negotiations immediately .. We will start contacting President Zellinski to inform him of the conversation, which I will do now. ”
Trump indicated that he asked Foreign Minister Marco Rubio, the director of the CIA, John Ratcliffe, National Security Adviser, Michael Waltz, the ambassador, and the special envoy Steve Wittouf, the leadership of the negotiations that he said: “I feel strongly that it will be successful .. Millions of people have died in a war that would not have happened If you were a president .. but it has already happened .. So it should end .. More lives should be lost. ”
Trump thanked Putin for his time and effort regarding the release of Mark Vogel yesterday and said: He is a wonderful man who personally received him last night at the White House .. I think this effort will lead to a successful conclusion .. I hope it will be soon. ”
