Ukraine agreed to stop fire with Russia for “30” days

The US State Department announced yesterday, Tuesday, that the Jeddah meeting has made important steps towards achieving peace in Ukraine, and said that during the Jeddah meeting, Ukraine agreed to a 30 -day ceasefire if Russia is committed, supporting an American proposal to announce a 30 -day truce in the war with Russia, while Washington agreed to immediately stop military aid and exchange intelligence information with Kiev.
After negotiations that lasted more than 8 hours, the American and Ukrainian parties agreed to conclude the metal agreement as soon as possible, and the US State Department stated that Ukraine would form a team to negotiate immediately in a permanent peace negotiations.
For his part, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that Ukraine has agreed to take immediate negotiations with Russia, while US National Security Adviser Michael Waltz announced that he would speak to Russia regarding the armistice proposal with Ukraine.
Waltz said: “The question now is” how “and not” if “the war will end in Ukraine.
Two American and Ukrainian officials have made clear that the first round of negotiations between the two sides in the city of Jeddah went well and came constructive and fruitful.
