The US Senate approves a bill to avoid government closure

Agencies – Washington:
The US Senate approved a draft temporary spending law to avoid partial government closure after Democrats retracted their position in a crisis stemming from their anger due to President Donald Trump’s campaign to reduce the number of employees in the federal government.
Days after the intense debate, the leader of the democratic minority, Chuck Schumer, ended the crisis on Thursday evening, saying that he would vote to allow the passion to pass. He added that he does not tend to the draft law, but he believes that the start of a government closure will be worse because Trump and his advisor Ilon Musk are quickly moving to reduce spending.
The Senate voted with the support of 54 votes versus 46 opposition to the bill, and sent it to Trump for its signature and converting it into a law after rejecting four amendments.
The House of Representatives, which is controlled by the majority of the Republic, passed the draft law last week, which means that spending will reach about 6.75 trillion dollars during the fiscal year ending September 30.
Democrats expressed their anger at the draft law, which reduces spending about seven billion dollars, which they said would not stop Trump’s campaign to address the spending imposed by Congress and reduce tens of thousands of jobs.
These moves come while the United States is fighting a trade war with some of its closest allies, which led to a large sales wave of shares and raised fears of recession.
