The White House confirmed today, Monday, that the editor -in -chief of the “Atlantic” magazine accidentally included a very secret correspondence group that includes senior American officials to discuss the direct strikes against the Houthi group in Yemen.
Atlantic magazine published a story by the editor Jeffrey Goldberg, saying that “American national security leaders were guaranteed to a collective conversation on the upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I did not think that might be real. Then the bombs began to fall.”
A spokesman for the US National Security Council told the island that they are reviewing how to add an unintended number to a series of officials ’messages, noting that the messages he had reported regarding the details of the attack on Yemen are authentic.
Commenting on this, US President Donald Trump Trump said that he had nothing like this, and he reaffirmed that the attacks on the Houthis are effective.
“It seems at this time that the series of messages mentioned in the article is original, and we are investigating how to add a number by mistake,” said Brian Hughes, a spokesman for the National Security Council, after journalist Jeffrey Goldberg revealed that he had previously received a detailed plan for American raids on March 15 against the Houthis.
The Israeli political analyst at Wallack Rafid website said that senior US administration officials (from the Vice President and Dhul) created a group on the “Sagnal” application to coordinate the start of the attack on the Houthis and exchange of highly secret operational and intelligence updates, but the most surprising thing than all of this: they added the mistake to the Goldberg group, which was familiar with all the talks.
