We are ready to strike the Iranian depth to prevent Tehran from having a nuclear weapon

Washington – Agencies:
US Defense Secretary Beit Higseth announced on Sunday that the United States is hoping for a diplomatic solution to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, and if this is not possible, the army is ready to strike the Iranian depth strongly -as he said -.
“Although President Donald Trump hopes that he will not have to resort to the military option, we have proven the ability to go far and in depth and strongly … and I confirm that we do not want to do that .. But if we are forced, we will do to prevent Iran from possessing a nuclear bomb.
On the other hand, the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced yesterday, Sunday, that the upcoming talks with the United States, scheduled for next week, will remain “indirect” and Omani mediation and will focus exclusively on the nuclear file and the lifting of sanctions.
“The negotiations will remain indirect,” said Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baqai.
This announcement came after the conclusion of the first round last Saturday of the indirect talks that took place in the Omani capital, Muscat, and witnessed an exchange of messages between the head of the Iranian delegation Abbas Araqji and the American Special Envoy for Middle East affairs, Steve Wittouf through the Omani Foreign Minister.
