Iran is ready to respond to any new military attack

Iranian leader Ali Khamenei said that Iran is ready to respond to any new military attack, adding that Tehran is able to strike a stronger blow to its opponents than that during its 12 -day war with Israel.

Khamenei’s official website quoted as saying to the officials of the judiciary that the Iranian response to the attacks it was subjected to was “decisive and influential”, stressing that the Islamic Republic “is not the weak party in any field.”

Khamenei called for preserving “national unity” despite the differences in political trends and religious sites within society, considering that “the difference in opinions should not be a reason for division in the face of major issues, foremost of which is the defense of the country and the political system.”

Khamenei said that “the Israeli war aimed to overthrow the rule in Iran,” adding: “The emergence of national will in the recent war was a pivotal factor in thwarting the enemy’s conspiracies.”
