The Syrian Foreign Minister visits Russia

Russia announced yesterday, Wednesday, that the Syrian Foreign Minister will head today, Thursday, to Moscow on the first official visit of an official in the new government in Damascus to Russia since the overthrow of Bashar al -Assad last year.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told the official Russian news agency “Tass” that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will receive his Syrian counterpart Asaad Al -Shaibani, to hold talks in Moscow on Thursday.
