Reuters report: Hamas continues the resistance and disappointment between Israeli soldiers news

Some military personnel express disappointment towards political leaders who send them to the battlefield again, as the army is preparing to control Gaza City, the largest urban center in the Strip.

According to a study conducted by researchers at the Hebrew University on public opinion towards the new campaign between more than 300 people who are currently serving in the war, 25.7% of the reserve soldiers said that their motives have decreased significantly compared to the beginning of the campaign. 10% of others said that their motives had decreased slightly.

Negative feelings

When they were asked to describe their feelings towards the campaign, the largest percentage of 47% of those surveyed expressed negative feelings towards the government and the way they dealt with the war and negotiations on the hostages.

In March, the Israeli news website “WiT” reported that the number of reserve soldiers who joined the service has become 30% less than the number requested by military leaders.
