How did the administrative chaos of Al -Faisali and Al -Wehdat northern the rise of the North Clubs? | sports

Oman- For many years, the Jordanian football scene remained restricted to the image of the conflict between the poles of the capital (Al -Faisaly and Al -Wehdat), who share 52 titles in the Professional League. But that control faded in favor of immersed clubs.

This almost absolute control since 1983 was only broken by the Jordan Youth Club, which then seemed an ambitious project, as 4 years after its establishment was able to obtain the league title in 2006, and after 7 years of this achievement he succeeded in repeating it and obtaining the title for the second time.

But this mutation was killed by the lack of a financial plan to continue the level of competition, so that the team turns to the level of the second row in the league.

The end of an era and another beginning

Since 2021, the scene began to change, as Al -Ramtha Club took advantage of the administrative confusion of the capital clubs to kidnap the league title after about 39 years of crowning its last titles in 1982.

Al -Faisaly returned despite his administrative problems to obtain the title of 2022 League, and everyone thought that control returned to the capital, but there were those who were working on an ambitious and professional manifestation project at the level of Jordanian clubs.

Al -Hussein club Irbid managed to conclude deals, pump money and acquire the most important local players who formed the pillar of the “Al -Nishami” team, which qualified for the World Cup.

During the current international pause, 5 of Al -Hussein Irbid players were called to represent the team in its matches against both Russia and the Dominican, and the highest local club was represented in the squad that depends mainly on professionals abroad, which enabled the club to control the league title in the last two years.

A state of doubt deepens

At the beginning of the current season, the poles of the capital tried to strengthen their ranks with new players, and prepare for the league in the hope of reflecting the image and restoring control, but the first five rounds strengthened the state of doubt, as Ramtha managed to defeat the two poles, causing the dismissal of their coaches, Jamal Abu Abed (Al -Faisaly) and the Tunisian Qais Al -Yaqoubi (Al -Wehdat) and the arrangement during these rounds.

While the “Classico Al -Hos” match witnessed Al -Faisaly’s victory over the units, the mass attendance recorded a modest level, and the stands of the Amman International Stadium seemed almost empty, and the summit of the north between Hussein Irbid and Al -Ramtha was technically richer, and in the presence of a remarkable public.

Administrative problems

The administrative problems experienced by Al -Faisaly and Al -Wehdat, and under the pressures of the masses and their demands for better results, generate great confusion that was reflected in the resignations and resignations that translated this confusion.

During the period of 2021 until now, Al -Faisaly was led by 7 coaches, including one repeated, while the units led 7 coaches.

This similarity in numbers confirms that repeated technical change is a common feature of both clubs, while their policies are characterized by immediate response to negative results instead of relying on long -term plans, and giving coaches enough time and opportunity to apply their ideas and achieve harmony between the players.

The absence of financial stability

There are no clear numbers about the financial performance of Al -Faisaly and Al -Wehdat club, but financial behavior reflects the absence of sound financial management, despite the scarcity of financial resources.

The financial conditions in Al -Faisaly have reached the extent that the salaries of players were delayed for more than 3 months, at a time when the club is trying to avoid any financial claims as a result of the annulment of contracts and dismissals through financial settlements.

The weak financial stability led to the loss of units for distinguished contracts that were within reach, but they went to other clubs, while neglecting the club’s talents, which prefer to go to professional experiences in external immersed clubs for purely financial reasons.

A picture opposite in the north

On the other hand, Al -Hussein Irbid was able to show administrative stability and more professional management of the club’s resources and the method of contracting.

Despite the criticisms directed at the acquisition of the most important players and talents in the Kingdom, this helped the club to build a strong team, and through these acquisitions he was able to provide financial resources as a result of the sale of players ’contracts and loaning them in large sums.

While recent financial statements were not available for the past year, the 2023 data published by the club on its official page showed an abundance of more than 420 thousand US dollars.

The club was also able to sign an agreement for 3 years with the Dutch club “Eagles” to create an academy for the development of juniors, which reflects its strategy to become a source of talents instead of relying on ready players, and opens the door to market them in the future, which will enhance financial stability more.

Camille Al -Sakran, member of the board of directors of Hussein Irbid and the secretary of the fund – to Al -Jazeera Net – stated that what the club achieved during the last two seasons was not a coincidence, but rather was the result of administrative and financial stability, the precise choice of local and foreign professionals, and the technical staff gave full powers.

Al -Sakran pointed to the role of the board of directors and its solidarity, which was able to harness all the capabilities to serve the team. Rather, the council was able to convert the previous club debts into donations to support it.

Talent tank in Ramtha

Unlike Al -Hussein Irbid, the difficult financial conditions forced the Ramtha Club to exploit the huge talent in the city.

He deprived him of the contracts to the escalation of a large number of young talents that imposed a great presence in the league competitions for the last season, when it set the title compass towards the city of Irbid and gave him Hussein at the expense of the units, and the positive performance continued to lead Ramtha to lead the league teams during the first five rounds.
