Destruction of towers and dwellings
Al -Jazeera correspondent said that the Israeli occupation army intensified its military operations since the morning hours, targeting a residential tower and 3 centers to accommodate the displaced, along with more than 20 buildings in Gaza City, which led to widespread destruction in infrastructure and civilian homes.
The Al -Jazeera correspondent also reported that the Public Prosecution Building, southwest of Gaza City, was exposed to 3 Israeli raids, in addition to artillery shelling and smoke bombs in the Al -Nabak and Yarmouk areas in the city center.
Meanwhile, the Anatolia News Agency said that the Israeli aircraft threw leaflets at the beginning of the beach camp, west of Gaza City, calling on the residents of the western neighborhoods to flee in the south.
The agency added that the leaflets warned the residents in the southern Al -Randa neighborhood, Sheikh Ajlin, Tal Al -Hawa and the Gaza Port to evacuate their areas and go south through Al -Rashid Al -Sahili Street.

The government media office in Gaza confirmed that more than a million people, including more than a third of a million children, are still in the governorates of Gaza and the North, and categorically rejecting the plan of forced displacement towards the south.
The office affirmed that “the occupation continues the policies of systematic destruction, genocide and ethnic cleansing” in Gaza City, calling on the international community to move urgent to stop the crimes of the occupation and provide protection for civilians.
These developments come at a time when the sector is suffering from a suffocating humanitarian crisis, amid international warnings of the collapse of basic services and the depletion of medical and food supplies.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) said that entire neighborhoods in Gaza and mountains are evacuated and more than 86% of the city are subject to displacement orders.
On Friday, the Regional Director of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Edward Besbider, warned of an imminent humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza City, in light of the expansion of military operations, the continuation of the Israeli war on the Strip and the exacerbation of human suffering.
“The escalating military attack on Gaza City has devastating consequences for more than 450,000 children,” Besbider said, stressing that children are paying the largest price for this escalation.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli aggression against Gaza left 64,803 martyrs, 164 thousand and 264 injured Palestinians, most of them children and women, and more than 10 thousand missing, hundreds of thousands of displaced people, and deliberate famine have tired the lives of 420 Palestinians, including 145 children.
