Two people were killed and 30 injured in a train coup in Tunisia


Today, Wednesday, the official Tunisian radio reported that two people were killed and 30 others were injured when a train linking Sfax and Tunis collapsed at the Masaken station.

Radio Mosaique FM said that a train heading towards Gabes deviated from its track and overturned at the Masaken station in the state of Sousse, killing the train driver.

The radio indicated a state of “panic, panic and fainting” among the passengers, without recording any casualties among them. She confirmed that buses will be provided to transport passengers to their destination.

The radio indicated that the accident occurred late on Tuesday evening, and that the two dead were the train driver and his assistant, according to preliminary reports confirmed by a medical official.
