Similar to the literary salons and cafes that have spread and become famous since ancient times as gathering places for writers and thinkers, the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, His Excellency Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, announced the launch of (The Golden Pen Diwaniyah) during the press conference to launch the Golden Pen Award for the most influential works, and stressed that (The Golden Pen Diwaniyah… ) which will be in Riyadh, in the embassy district, is the next destination as a meeting place for writers from different parts of the world. The head of the Golden Pen Award, Dr. Saad Al-Bazai, revealed that it will be a platform that brings together writers and receives visitors to the Kingdom of thinkers, creators, and writers in a fertile environment stimulating communication, acquaintance, and exchange of experiences, in addition to presenting… Their work and the signing of their books, and lectures and seminars for dialogue will be held, and many details will become clear later as it begins its work.
A remarkable new point added to the credits of His Excellency Turki Al-Sheikh, a personality full of surprises, who always amazes us and interrupts our distractions when we look at the missing corner, by filling the gap at the right time, a man who thinks outside the box and cares about all groups and segments, as he assured us through this initiative of his interest and care. An important and influential group in society, pens that write and defend the nation, and enrich the literary and artistic scene, a group that deserves to be cared for and provided with a literary platform to promote cultural dialogue. These gatherings are not just social meetings, but rather an opportunity for mutual enrichment.
(The Golden Pen Diwaniyah) A new embassy opens its doors to ambassadors from inside and outside the country, who hold their pens in their hand and their country in their heart..
