The Kingdom welcomes the provision of technical assistance and capacity building to Yemen

The Kingdom’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva participated yesterday in the general discussion on providing technical assistance and capacity building in the Human Rights Council, and welcomed the issuance of the twelfth report of the Yemeni National Committee for Monitoring Human Rights Violations, and stressed the importance of the Office of the High Commissioner continuing to intensify its support for this committee. .
In the Kingdom’s speech before the 57th session of the Human Rights Council, the head of the Human Rights Section of the Kingdom’s permanent delegation to the United Nations in Geneva Asia, Akada, affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness to return peace to brotherly Yemen, and its support for all efforts aimed at resolving the crisis and alleviating the human suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people. And push towards reaching political solutions to restore security and stability to Yemen and the region, and reaffirm its initiative to end the war in Yemen, and reach a comprehensive political solution.
