The Foreign Minister affirms the two-state solution and respect for Lebanon’s sovereignty

Yesterday, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated in the expanded session of the second meeting of foreign ministers of the Group of Seven (G7) countries with their counterparts from some Arab countries, which bore the title (Together for the stability of the Middle East), with the participation of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the State of The United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and His Excellency the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.
During the session, His Highness delivered a speech in which he stressed the importance of strengthening multiple partnerships to confront regional and international challenges. He also touched on developments in Gaza and Lebanon, stressing the need for the international community to assume its responsibilities and move for an immediate ceasefire, ensure the delivery of aid without restrictions, and work to embody an independent Palestinian state. Through the two-state solution.
His Highness also stressed the need to reduce the escalation in Lebanon and respect its sovereignty, in addition to the urgent need to reach a permanent solution to the crisis in Sudan and end the human suffering there.
The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Italian Republic.
