The Gulf Ministerial Council discusses regional and international developments

Yesterday, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated in the 162nd ministerial preparatory meeting for the 45th session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council, held in the sisterly State of Kuwait, headed by His Excellency the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister – Chairman of the current session – Abdullah Al-Yahya.
During the meeting, the process of joint Gulf action was reviewed, ways to strengthen and develop it, and the latest developments in the regional and international situation were discussed, most notably the developments in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, the importance of an immediate ceasefire, and reaching a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue.
The meeting also discussed a set of reports related to following up on the implementation of the decisions of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council issued by the summit (44), in addition to issues related to dialogue and strategic relations between the GCC countries and international countries and groupings.
