Airways passengers protested after a five -hour delay at the runway. The plane heading from Mumbai to Dubai was scheduled to take off at 8:25 am, but it remained on the runway until one o’clock in the afternoon due to technical problems.
During this time, the passengers suffered from the absence of the air conditioning system, which led to their feeling of suffocation.
A circulating video clip showed the passengers screaming and hitting the walls of the plane, demanding that they be informed of the fate of the flight or allowing them to get off. In July 2017, passengers of Air Canada had a difficult situation when they remained trapped inside the plane for 6 hours at Ottawa airport after the plane was prevented from taking off due to bad weather.
The temperatures inside the plane were very high, prompting some passengers to take off their shirts and road windows to protest.
