Two analysts: This is what Netanyahu seeks to dismiss the Shin Bet policy

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues to move forward in strengthening his grip on the security and military institutions in Israel, after his decision to dismiss the Shin Bet President Ronin Bar, who is one of the Guardians of the Israeli political regime, according to analysts.
The expert in Israeli affairs, Muhannad Mustafa, described the dismissal of the Shin Bet, the important event in the Israeli political system, considering that the decision of Netanyahu is falling in a strategic context, after the government ranked this device as hostile to the Israeli right project.
Mustafa told Al -Jazeera that the decision comes within the framework of Netanyahu’s endeavor to change the security and military elite in Israel after the resignation of the Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, noting that the Israeli Prime Minister wants to subject this elite or make it identical to the government.
Netanyahu’s decision comes in the context of holding the security and military services in Israel responsible for the failure of the seventh of October 2023.
The Israeli Prime Minister’s office announced – on Sunday that Netanyahu met the Shin Bet President Ronin Bar, and informed him that he would put the government to dismiss him, while Netanyahu attributed the dismissal decision To “a constant lack of confidence in Par increased over time.”
Israeli media considered the dismissal of Ronin Bar “a major political tremor in Israel”, while Israeli channel 14 reported that Netanyahu will be held next Wednesday a special government session to ratify the dismissal.
The Shabak is the Israeli Internal Security Service, formed its first nucleus from the intelligence service, which was affiliated with the Zionist Haganah Organization, and plays a prominent role in collecting information, liquidating, arresting the Palestinians and thwarting the Palestinian resistance operations.
Mustafa expressed his conviction that the dismissal of Barr will affect the Shin Bet, which is “more holy than the Israeli army” and has great confidence in the Israeli public, pointing out that he had not previously dismissed the head of the apparatus in the middle of his term even though he is affiliated with the government.
He pointed out that Netanyahu intends to appoint the chief of the Shin Bet – who is only called “MIM” – as the head of the agency, pointing out that he was the head of the Israeli delegation in the last Doha negotiations.
In the context of reactions, the resigned Israeli National Security Minister Etamar bin Ghafir congratulated the Shin Bet, and said that “there is no place in a democratic country for officials who act politically in a hostile manner for elected officials.”
The Minister of Finance in Saltel Smotrich said that the Shin Better’s replacement was a “necessary step”, noting that it was better for him to take responsibility and resign more than a year ago.
In turn, the writer and political analyst Ahmed Al -Haila said that the displacement of strong personalities such as Ronin Bar gives Netanyahu more space to arrange what he wants in the file of the Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip.
Al -Haila indicated that Netanyahu wants to install himself as king at the head of power in Israel and control it as he wants, expressing his conviction that these differences between him and the security services will have internal repercussions in Israel, and it may be an introduction to changing the identity of the state.
Accordingly, the security and military institutions in Israel will hand over the right -wing extremist figures consistent with the current Israeli government.
However, Israeli media quoted the government’s judicial advisor as saying that “the chief of the Shin Bet cannot be dismissed without legal opinion from them,” and demanded that Netanyahu inform her of the dismissal decision before he entered into force.
For its part, the “Quality of Governance” movement in Israel described the decision to dismiss the chief of the Shin Bet “by declaring a war against the rule of law.”
In turn, the leader of the Israeli opposition, Yair Lubid, considered the dismissal of Bar at this time “irresponsible, and indicates lack of interest in the destiny of the hostages,” noting that the dismissal method that he described as shame indicates “the loss of Netanyahu’s control of his nerves and the collapse of values.”
While Labid confirmed the direction of the Supreme Court to appeal the decision to dismiss Ronin Bar, former member of the War Council, Benny Gantz, said that the dismissal of the Shin Bet, “a direct violation of state security and the dismantling of unity in Israeli society for political and personal reasons.”
