Rapid support bombing a white hospital and the army regains the town of South Kordofan news

A military source told Al -Jazeera that patients were killed and wounded, as a result of the targeting of a plane belonging to the Rapid Support Forces, a hospital in the city of Abyad, the capital of North Kordofan, Thursday.
Witnesses from the city of Al -Abyad reported that a march plane attacked the Sudanese Army’s Medical Hospital in Al -Abyad.
They added that the attack resulted in a number of deaths and injuries, without specifying a number, and the hospital was vacated.
On Wednesday, the Sudan Doctors Network announced the killing of 4 civilians and the injury of 8 others with artillery shelling of the Rapid Support Forces on the city of Al -Abyad.
The army regains a town
In another development, a source said to the island that the Sudanese army regained control of the town of “Umm Duhail” in the western state of Kordofan, after battles with the Rapid Support Forces.
The Sudanese army announced the control of the Al -Hammadi area in the state of South Kordofan, according to a field source to the island, noting that progress brings the army closer to the city of Al -Dabbat, which is a meeting meeting between the three states of Kordofan.
In North Kordofan, field sources told Al -Jazeera Net that the city of Al -Khoy witnessed violent clashes two days ago, which ended with the army’s control over the city, hours after the rapid support forces entered it.
Sources reported that the Rapid Support Forces carried out arrests and killed prisoners of the army after entering the Khwi and the army withdrew to its outskirts, before the latter launched a surprise attack during which the city regained and supplied rapid support losses in lives and mechanisms.
The joint force of the armed movements allied to the army said it had destroyed 800 combat vehicles and killed hundreds of Khoy’s battles against the Rapid Support Forces.
For its part, the Rapid Support Forces reported that they had caused losses of the army and its allies in the Al -Khoy battles, which are 100 km north of Kordofan.
For weeks and with accelerated pace, the areas of rapid support control in Sudan’s states began to decrease in favor of the army, and the latter’s victories in the capital Khartoum were extended to the control of the presidential palace, the headquarters of the ministries in its surroundings, the airport, and security and military headquarters.
Since mid -April 2023, the Sudanese army has been fighting more than 20,000 dead and about 15 million displaced and refugees, according to the United Nations and the local authorities.
