We seek a fair agreement with Washington and a lifting of sanctions

Abbas Araqji, the Iranian Foreign Minister, confirmed that his country is seeking a fair agreement with the United States, and a significant lifting of sanctions.
He said that his country seeks to reach a fair and balanced nuclear agreement, stressing the need to lift the “unjust” sanctions that directly target the Iranian people. He also stressed that “Tehran is ready to open a new page in its relations with Europe if it monitors a real will and an independent approach by European countries.”
Meanwhile, he stressed that his country “has never sought to own a nuclear weapon,” explaining that it is committed to relevant international treaties, on top of which is the Nuclear Non -Proliferation Treaty.
He added that Tehran expects its Western partners to respect its nuclear rights, and that any new agreement must include a complete, tangible and tangible lifting of sanctions, indicating that his country is still committed to diplomatic solutions.
