The Syrian President is discussing with an American delegation in the presence of Barak

Yesterday, Monday, Syrian President Ahmed Al -Sharaa received a high -ranking American delegation, including Senator Senator Jin Shaheen and House of Representatives Joe Wilson.
The Syrian presidency stated that during the meeting headed by Washington’s Special Envoy to Syria, Tom Barak, the developments of the situation in Syria and the region were discussed, in addition to ways to enhance dialogue and cooperation in a way that achieves security and stability.
The chief democratic in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee also discussed the security situation with the Syrian President, and also met with the commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces “SDF” Mazloum Abdi. Representative Joe Wilson said through his account on the “X” platform: “I had the honor to meet President Ahmed Al -Shara within a delegation of the two parties to discuss a bright, unified and stable future for Syria.” He added, “This trip was a special meaning for me Reception .. For its part, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Congress delegation confirmed its support for the cancellation of the Caesar Law at the end of 2025, noting that America’s decision to remove the sanctions regulations is a positive development in the right direction.
