4 people were killed as a result of an Israeli bombing of southern Lebanon

Beirut – Agencies:
The National News Agency in Lebanon reported that four people were killed as a result of Israeli raids and shelling targeting areas in southern Lebanon.
The agency explained that an Israeli raid targeted a house in the town of Zalaya in the Western Bekaa, killing two people, while rescue teams continued operations to remove rubble at the site.
Israeli drones also targeted the town of Mifidoun, in conjunction with artillery shelling that targeted the town, leading to the killing of two other people.
In the same context, Israeli forces sent urgent warnings to residents of a number of towns and villages in southern Lebanon, calling on them to evacuate.
These developments come in light of the continuing attacks on southern Lebanon, despite the truce that entered into force on April 16, and was later extended for several weeks, amid escalating field tensions in the region.
