Egypt rejects attempts to form a parallel Sudanese government

Egypt expressed its rejection of efforts to form a parallel government in Sudan, saying that these attempts hold the scene and hinder efforts to unite the visions in its southern neighbor, which is witnessing a civil conflict between the army and the paramilitary rapid support forces for nearly two years. Egypt called “all Sudanese forces to prevail in the country’s supreme national interest and positively engage in the launch of a comprehensive political process, without exclusion or external interventions.”
