The general assembly of “Sera” approves the offering of 30% of the shares of “Lumi Leasing” for subscription
The Board of Directors of the Seera Holding Group announced the approval of the group’s general assembly, at its meeting yesterday, Tuesday, to dismantle the merger of Lumi Leasing Company from the Seera Holding Group.
The group stated in a statement on “Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul” today, Wednesday, that the general assembly approved the offering of 16.5 million ordinary shares, representing 30% of the capital of Lumi Leasing Company, for public subscription in the main market.
The Seera Holding Group turned to profitability in the third quarter of 2022 by about 54 million riyals, compared to losses of about 72 million riyals in the same quarter of 2021, and losses of about 68 million riyals in the second quarter of 2022.
Seera said that it achieved the first operating profit after the Corona pandemic, at a value of 30 million riyals, in the third quarter of 2022.
She added that the total value of bookings for the “Seera” group increased by 93% for the third quarter of 2022, to reach 2.7 billion riyals, compared to 1.4 billion riyals in the third quarter of 2021.
Seera stated that the travel platform “Al Musafir” of the Seera Holding Group, which is entrusted with managing the individual and corporate travel sectors, the destination management company “Discover Saudi Arabia” and the “Mawasim” company, the company specialized in operating Hajj and Umrah trips, recorded a remarkable growth in the total value of reservations, with an increase of 100%. To reach 1.8 billion riyals in the third quarter of 2022, compared to 0.9 billion riyals in the third quarter of 2021.
Seera’s losses decreased by 74.5% in the first nine months of 2022, to about 77 million riyals, compared to losses of about 302 million riyals in the same period of 2021.
