The movie “The Journey of a Lifetime” was screened on 144 Saudi planes in 9 languages

An awareness film tells the details of Hajj and Umrah, and it is shown on 144 Saudi planes in 9 languages. It was launched by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah under the title “The Journey of a Lifetime.” The Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, inaugurated the film at the headquarters of the Prince Sultan Academy of Aviation Sciences in Jeddah.

The launch of the film comes within the framework of the effective strategic partnership with the General Authority of Endowments and Saudi Airlines, to educate the pilgrims coming from countries around the world to perform the rituals of Hajj and Umrah. The film, which was translated into nine languages, reviewed a number of educational stories and scenes that were filmed in more than 14 locations. within 7 weeks.

More than 800 main and secondary actors participated in the work, to address all the detailed topics of interest to pilgrims to the Sacred House of God, in a simple and interesting manner that covers all the stages they go through while performing their rituals with ease and reassurance. The film will also be included in the air entertainment content package on Saudi Airlines planes. Which currently amounts to more than 5 thousand hours of entertainment.

Directions and clarifications

Turki Al-Khalaf, Director of the General Department of Media and Corporate Communication, and Director of the General Department of Awareness at the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, stated that the film produced by the Ministry will be shown on board Saudi Airlines planes through the Hajj and Umrah channel, indicating that it provides a set of educational directives and clarifications about a number of desirable behaviors.
